A courageous editorial criticizing the German government for the order issued Monday declaring the children of marriages between Jews and members of the nobility illegitimate appeared today in the Vossische Zeitung, the newspaper edited by Dr. Georg Bernhard before the Nazis came into power and which has attempted to retain some of the independence and liberal attitude for which it was famed, under coordination of the press by the Nazis.
