Newspapers of the anti-Semitic National Democratic Party today warned against the impending “mass return” of Polish Jews who had emigrated to Palestine.
To prevent return of the emigrants, the papers demand that Polish citizenship be withdrawn from Polish Jews now resident in Palestine.
One paper declares:
“It is necessary to create conditions to prevent the return of Polish Jews, similar to those affecting German Jews, who are not allowed to return to Germany.”
Government figures disclose 6,234 Polish Jews emigrated to Palestine in the first six months of the year compared to 12,635 in the same period last year.
