A Catholic priest of Jewish origin, wearing a yellow Mogen David in compliance with the existing anti-Jewish regulations, was the object of a spontaneous pro-Jewish demonstration when he appeared in one of the streets in the city of Malines, Belgium, it is reported today by Belgian circles here.
Angered by the demonstration, the Nazi authorities intervened and arrested the priest whose sole crime consisted of acting in accordance with the Nazi laws.
