Yeshiva University will spend $455,294 during the academic year 1953-54, the largest amount in the institution’s history, to provide scholarship and maintenance aid for 1,625 students or 85 percent of its enrollment, Dr. Samuel Belkin, president, announced today.
The financial aid is to be allocated in the form of tuition, dormitory, and maintenance scholarships for residents of 24 states, the District of Columbia, and 17 foreign countries.
