Wise wood, who, appearing on his own behalf, had testified at recent legislative hearing that Russian and Polish Jews are “disloyal agitators” was warmly scored by Senator Downing here today. “Wood is more in need than those foreign born, of an Americanization process that would clear his heart and mind of the cobwebs of bigotry and prejudice”, he said.
