A delegation of Arab sheiks from the vicinity of Petach Tikvah has again petitioned Sir Herbert Samuel to release Abu Kish, an Arab chieftain serving a fifteen-year sentence for leading the mob which sacked the Jewish colony in June 1921. The Arabs assured the High Commissioner they were maintaining friendly relations with their Jewish neighbors and undertook to continue to live in peace with them.
