Edwin Samuel, eldest son of the High Commissioner, has been appointed Chief Clerk of the Governorate of Palestine.

Young Samuel has been in Palestine for several years, having come as an officer of the Jewish Regiment. He was attached later to the Zionist Commission and on his father’s arrival was appointed an aid to Governor Storrs.
