Albert D. Lasker, chairman of the United States Shipping Board today tendered his rsignation effective June 12.
The resignation was expected as Lasker on his appointment in 1921 by President Harding had agreed to take the position for a period of two years only. Lasker is generally regarded as one of the most intimate and confidential friends of the President.
