Deputies Sandor and Besnard fought a duel last Saturday both receiving slight wounds. They parted unreconciled.

Deputy Sandor, who is the only Jewish member of the Hungarian Assembly, was challeged by M. Besnard, known as an anti-Semite, for slighting remarks that M. Sandor was alleged to have made regarding the Awakening Magyars.
