Zangwill Arrives with Comprerensive Plan for Jewry

Israel Zangwill, the distinguished Jewish novelist and playwright of England arrived here on SS La France Saturday.

Zangwill was met at the pier by a group of representatives of the American Jewish Congress, which he has come here to address. He was taken to the home of Nathan Straus.

Zangwill told newspapermen that he had a comprehensive plan for Jewry which he would present in his address at the Congress. The future of Judaism, he declared is in the hands of American Jews.
