President Hainisch of Austria is apparently determined to put down anti-Semitism in the Austrian universities. Directors of all universities had been recently called to a conference with the President, it is learned. Minister of Education Schneider was also present at the meeting which discussed means of suppressing violations in the higher and secondary schools.
Decisions taken at the meeting have not been made public, an announcement being expected following the annual meeting the end of December of all university heads.
