Constituent Assembly of Mesopotamia to Consider Caliphate Question

The newly elected Constituent Assembly of Mesopotamia will be opened today by King Feisul. One of the principled questions that the Assembly will consider will be the Caliphate. It will be remembered in that connection that King Feisul, who is a son of King Hussein, did not participate in the conference at Amman, called for the purpose of proclaiming King Hussein caliph. Even since the proclamation of King Hussein as Caliph, King Feisul has given no evidence of supporting his father.
