Warburg of New York, ever acted in the capacity of financial expert to the Allies during the peace negotiations at Versaille: or that he, Max Warburg, was a member of the German financial delgation to Versaille.
The German anti-Semitic press had previously accused the Warburgs of working together for the purpose of damaging the German interests.
