The Jewish people may fully rely upon the honor and good name of Great Britain which is a sufficient guarantee for the realization of their hopes in Palestine, declared the British Colonial Minister, Thomas, on his visit here, in a reply to an address submitted to him by the

South African Zionist Federation.

Colonial Minister Thomas, in his reply, also praised the work of Sir Herbert Samuel and Dr. Chaim Weizman, declaring that he was proud to have been the first Labor Minister to announce in Parliament that the First Labor Government of Britain endorsed the Balfour Declaration concerning the up-building of the Jewish National Home in Palestine.
