The war between the Wahabis and the Kingdom of Hedjas caused a movement of protest against war here. Labor organizations belonging to the Amsterdam International issued proclamations in Hebrew and Arabic, urging Palestine labor to strike and make demonstrations of protest under the slogan “War against War”.

The strike was called for Sunday. Work, however, was not interrupted. In Jerusalem, Jaffe and Haif labor meetings took place, where speeches were made in Hebrew and Arabic, protesting against war.
