Orthodox Jews in Poland Form Committees to Supervise Woman’s Dress

The protest issued by the Warsaw Rabbinate and many leading Rabbis in the provincial towns of Poland against the immodesty of woman’s dress, is finding support in many orthodox Jewish circles all over the country. In various towns committees of orthodox Jews were formed to supervise woman’s dress. In several towns women who appeared in short sleeves were censured and warned against a repetition.
