Court Denies Arab Executive Right to Bring Suit on Behalf of Christian Church

The Arab Executive and Cardinal Barlassina have not the legal status to start proceedings on behalf of the Christian Church, is the opinion of the Jerusalem courts, according to a report published today in the Arab paper, “Faiastin.”

The Arab Executive and Cardinal Barlassina were anxious to start proceedings against the Hebrew daily paper, “Doar Ha’Yom. The accusation rested upon the assertion that one of its columnists in commenting upon the conversion of Hans Herzl used several improper expressions in connection with the name of Jesus.
