The cause of the explosion which caused the death of three Jewish children here was discovered.
It was found that the explosion was caused by a shell which had lain buried in the sand since Allenby’s Palestine campaign, when Jaffa was shelled from the sea. The children found the shell and played with it. The third child, who suffered injuries in the explosion, died yesterday. The other two were killed instantly.
