A conference of Hcbrew educators in Eastern Europe will take place in Daning during February, it was announced here today. The conference was called on the initiative of the Tarbuth organization of Poland, which maintains elementary and high schools where Hebrew is the language of instruction. Representabies of the Tarbuth schools in Roumana. Esthonia. Laivia, Lithuania. Russia, Germany, Anstria and Cieszyn are expected to attend.
The conference will consider the problems of unifying the system of ? education in the Tarbuth schools. It is planned that the publication of a pedagogical journal in Hebrew will be started. Plans for publishing textbooks will be taken up at the conference.
