The Prussian Minister of Education was urged today by the Berlinner Tageblatt to withdraw from the Prussian schools a new geography textbook which contains an insult to the Jewish people.

The newspaper complains that the textbook by Seydlitche in explaining the European map states that “nations without countries are ‘staatenlos,’ like the gypsies and the Jews.”

In behalf of the thousands of Jews who fought for the fatherland, the Minister of Education must see to it that this book is removed from the schools, the Tageblatt urges.
