A Yeshiva was established by the Mizrachi Hazair, labor branch of the Mizrachi organization, in the agricultural colony Neveh Jacob near Jerusalem.
The Yeshiva farm will be named after the Natziv, founder of the Volojin Yeshiva. Hebrew will be the language of instruction.
I. E. Oppenhelm, of Seranton. Pa., has been appointed chairman of the budget committee for this year’s drive of the Scranton-Dunmore Community Chest. The Chest embraces all leading organizations, and this year seeks to raise nearly $700,000.
