Rabbi Israel Goldstein of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun and David Freiberger, president of the Zionist district of Bensonhurst, were elected members of the Administrative Committee of the Zionist Organization of America at the last session of the National Executive Committee, it was announced yesterday.

The new members of the Administrative Committee were chosen to fill the vacancies which occurred by the resignation of Judge Otto Rosalsky since his assumption of the chairmanship of the United Palestine Appeal in New York, and by the death of Norvin R. Lindheim.

An interesting discussion developed at the last session of the Executive Committee with regard to the American Zion Commonwealth. A proposal was presented according to which a loan of $200,000 to the reorganization committee of the Commonwealth would completely solve the difficulties of the company and secure the repayment of the sums advanced to it by the United Palestine Appeal last year.

Representatives of the American Zion Commonwealth who have arrived here from Palestine, Charles Passman and Mr. Kesselman, are seeking support for this ##sal. After a thorough discussion, during which differences of opinion developed in the Executive Committee, the matter was referred for an investigation by the Board of Directors of the United Palestine Appeal.
