Jewish Social Worker Gets Second Distinction

Ignacy Fliderbaum, superintendent of the Jewish hospital of Warsaw, is the first Polish Jew to receive two high distinctions from the government.

Mr. Fliderbaum was decorated yesterday with the Silver Cross of Merit for valuable work performed during the Pilsudski coup d’etat in May 1926. The superintendent received his first distinction for valuable work performed during the explosion of the munitions factory in Warsaw several years ago.
