Chanukah, the Feast of Lights, is being observed this week. Saturday night, the second night of the Festival, was observed in Hebrew schools throughout New York City, with special entertainments.
The Palestine School Luncheons Fund Campaign for $15,000, conducted by Hadassah, women’s Zionist organization, was launched at the celebrations. The programs will continue throughout Chanukah week, which ends on December 15. The Luncheons Fund Campaign is being carried on simultancously in all sections of the country.
