Petitions for dissolution of the Jewish Center of Poughkeepsie, Inc., and the Poughkeepsie Hebrew School, Inc., both membership corporations, were granted by Justice Morschauser when he signed two orders dissolving both organizations. Assets and membership of the two organizations will be merged into one large organization, which contemplates the erection of a new Jewish community center on the site of the present Jewish Center building in Poughkeepsie, N. Y. A joint committee of 15, representing both organizations, is forming the new society.
