Maurice D. Rosenberg, prominent Jewish attorney and Washington representative of the Order B’nai Brith, has been appointed General Counsel of the Presidential Inaugural Committee by Col. U. S. Grant, 3rd, Chairman of the Committee, it was announced here today. The appointment is considered a very high honor, and is the first of any significance made in connection with the inaugural preparations. Mr. Rosenberg has long been actively identified with the affairs of the Republican Party here.
