President Coolidge was invited to attend the twenty-fifth anniversary celebration of the ministry of Rabbi Abram Simon in the pulpit of the Washington Hebrew Congregation, by a committee headed by Levi H. David, President of the Congregation, who called at the White House to extend the invitation. The President was invited to attend the opening event of the celebration at the Mayflower Hotel, on January 26. The celebration will last for three days, commencing Friday night with a banquet. On Saturday night an anniversary meeting will be addressed by Rabbi H. G. Enelow of New York, President of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, Rabbi Louis Wolsey of Philadelphia, Rabbi Nathan Krass of New York, and the Right Reverend Jemes E. Freeman, Episcopal Bishop of Washington.
