A patriotic meeting to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Bulgaria’s independence was held at the Central Synagogue here.
Jewish officers of all ranks, and many prominent leaders addressed the gathering. Jewish school children participated in the celebration. The Rabbi recited a prayer for world peace.
