The Alliance Israelite Universelle, the French Jewish philanthropic organization, will not join the extended Jewish Agency for the upbuilding of Palestine, as the representative of French Jewry, it was stated here on good authority.
The Alliance declined on the ground that it is an international body and cannot therefore represent French Jewry on the Agency.
