A group of Jewish leaders of Roumania against called upon Prime Minister Maniu yesterday to confer on the Jewish Communities Bill now in its final stage before enactment into law by parliament.

The Prime Minister listened to the objections of the Jewish community to the proposed law, as harmful to the interests of the community and the state. So far, however, no solution of the problem was found.

The member of the Government, Mirto, in an interview with a correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, admitted that the government was in the receipt of reports from all parts of the country concerning the growing dissatisfaction of the Jewish population with the pending bill.
