Congress Starts Debate on Palestine Education

The discussion on Palestine education questions, over which the Right, Left and Center parties are at loggerheads, fighting for the control of the education system, was started Monday afternoon when the Congress reconvened following the Sunday afternoon session.

Miss Henrietta Szold of New York. only American member of the Zionist Executive in Jerusalem, who is in charge of the education and health departments, submitted her report concerning the activities of the two departments. She spoke for two hours.

The general debate on the question was opened. Rabbi Ostrowsky of Jerusalem criticized the report in behalf of the Mizrachi.
