Bloody fights between Communists and Bundists occurred today because the Communists called a strike of bakery workers while the Bundists’ food union was opposed to the strike, considering it unfavorable to the workers’ interests. The Communists rioted at the bakery of Isaac Freund, seriously wounding the Bundist Jewish workers Solomon Rosenberg and Hersh Olbarg, and a Christian worker, Julian Kolodzeijski.
The Communists also attacked the workers in other factories, but were repulsed by the Bundists. The police intervened in the riots and arrested several of the participants.
