An agreement has been established between the American Jewish Artists Union and the Warsaw Society of Jewish Artists which guarantees mutual freedom to perform without the payment of special fees, thus settling a long lasting conflict.

The Warsaw Jewish Artists Association had demanded that American guest artists pay special fees to the society, whereupon the American Union prohibited its members from playing in Poland as guests. The compromise was concluded, thanks to the intervention of Rubin Guskin, head of the American Jewish Artists Union, who arrived here recently, and to the counsellor of the Warsaw association. Mr. Weinblatt, with the cooperation of the Warsaw Literary Society.
