Reichstag Told Anti-semitic Prayers Alien to Constitution

The anti-Semitic school prayers recently introduced into the schools of Thuringia by Minister of Cults Frick, infringe on the German constitution and are contradictory to religious liberty, the Reich minister for Home Affairs, M. Wirth, wrote to Premier Baum of Thuringia, he told the Reichstag today.

The Home Minister pointed out that as a Catholic and minister under the Weimar constitution, the Thuringian school prayers had touched him painfully, he explained to the Reichstag, declaring that he would wait for Premier Baum’s reply before taking further action.
