Death Sentence on 3 Polish Jews Annulled by Court

The Polish Court of Appeals today annulled the decision of the Lemberg Court of Assizes in sentencing to death three Jews from Lemberg for belonging to the Communist Party and for Communist activities. The Court of Appeals has submitted the sentence to the Lemberg Court of Assizes for revision.

The three Jews who had been sentenced to death were Samuel Jugend, 22, a minor government official; Naftali Propper, 22, and Israel Hirsch, 23.
