Hochberg, Jewish Theatrical Director, Dies in Rio De Janeiro

Mordecai Hochberg, well-known Yiddish theatrical composer and director, is dead as a result of an automobile accident in Rio de Janeiro, where he had gone with a group of local Yiddish actors for guest performances. Hochberg, who came to the Argentine from Vilna four years ago, was active on the Yiddish stage for the past quarter of a century. He was very popular among Yiddish theatre-goers and actors in this and other countries.
