Anti-Semitic propaganda is again becoming widespread in Bessarabia. A group of anti-Semitic students has arrived in Hotin from Czernowitz to distribute leaflets containing articles that blame the Jews for the economic difficulties of the peasants.
The students, who are followers of Professor Alexander Cuza, are promising the peasants that “a prominent professor” will save the country by confiscating the property of the Jews and distributing it among the peasants.
