Ullman and Major Louis M. Ullman, has been appointed to the board of fire commissioners, succeeding president John T. Sloan; and Alexander Cahan has been named to the board of education.
Mr. Ullman is one of the leaders in the Republican party of this city, and is a member of the Republican Executive Committee for this district. Mr. Cahan is a graduate of Yale, and as a civil engineer is known to be an expert in his field, and is now doing specialized work for Yale University.
