The trial of ten Nazis implicated in the bombing attempts against the editor of a Socialist paper in Schweidnitz, Silesia, is in progress here before a special court.

The accused include a Lieutenant Heines, a clerk, Erich Wagner and Storm Troop leaders from Breslau.

A member of the Nazi Storm Troops, Jaehnke, was killed when he threw a hand grenade at the Socialist editor, Paeschke.

Wagner declared on the witness stand that the bomb was not intended for Peschke but was directed rather against a synagogue.

The other defendants deny participation in the occurrences. The court is however uninclined to believe Wagner and has ordered the accused held for attempted murder.
