Herbert H. Lehman who broke two records in his election as the first Jewish governor of the State of New York and the first candidate to receive such a large vote, will attain another distinction when he is formally inaugurated next month.
The inaugural services will be attended by the retiring governor, President-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt, and it will be the first time that a President-elect has participated in the installation of a governor of New York.
