Studies at the first Yiddish People’s University were begun ###re yesterday.

The premises of the Jewish gymnasium are being used for class rooms.

Latzki Bertoldi, editor of “Frimorgen”, delivered the first lecture on Yehuda Halevy as a national poet and thinker.
