The National Union of German Jews, which is headed by Max Nauman, has telegraphed to Geneva, protesting against the petition submitted by Franz Bernheim to the League of Nations concerning German violation of Jewish rights in Upper Silesia.
The protest claims that the Jews of Upper Silesia are not a national minority and hence cannot appeal to the League under the sections of the Polish-German convention providing such recourse for national minorities in the plebiscite area.
