Ten Jews Will Die for Every German Russians Kill, Nazi Retaliation Rate

For every German dying in Russia, ten Jews will be hanged in Germany, announced Herr Nippold, Nazi leader in Upper Bavaria, at a mass meeting of 5,000 persons in Munich today. He charged that Soviet-Russian Jews were responsible for the starvation of thousands of German colonists in Russia.

“A million (sic) German Jews will be made hostages if the position of the German colonists in Russia does not improve,” he threatened. “The day may come,” Herr Nippold stormed, “when the German people will declare that for every German citizen succumbing in Russia, ten Jews will be promptly hanged on German ga##ws.”
