Synagogues Invaded

Three synagogues in Frankfort were invaded and robbed yesterday. Several suspects are being detained by police.

Announcement has been made that participation by Jews in Art Week here, which begins Oct. 15, is “undesirable.” The Week’s activities will be featured by art exhibits held throughout the country. Pleas for financial assistance to artists will be made through the press and radio.

The Association of German Druggists today put the clamp on Jewish members by ordering non-Jewish stores to display signs which will be distributed. Jewish members are to report to officers their status in the body.

Chancellor Hitler, in an address the night before last at the closing session of the Jurists’ Convention, praised German justice. He said that German law must be based on the principle of racial selection. Newspapermen were not permitted to take notes on the address.
