The famous La Scale Opera House has decided to produce “The Dybbuk” by the late S. Ansky, as an opera. The concerns itself with the mysticism of the Chassidim, a Jewish religious sect, which places great emphanis on faith and on the mystic Jewish writings of the Cabbala and Ge Zohar.

The libretto of the opera will be written by Renato Simoni and the well-known composer Luudovico Rocca has been commissioned to write the music for the new opera.
