–The first meeting of the Congressional Nazi investigating committee, scheduled to be held today, was postponed until Thursday morning by the chairman of the committee, Representative John W. McCormack. The committee meeting was postponed because of the absence of several members, the chairman explained. In New York Representative Dickstein, author of the bill for the investigation, and who is scheduled for the vice-chairmanship of the committee, explained that he had been busy checking on Nazi propaganda material to be submitted to the group. He also declared that on Wednesday Democrats and Republicans on the committee would hold separate caucus meetings to organize before the opening of the committee sessions.
