A panoramic painting of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem by Lionel Reiss, New York artist, will be unveiled tonight at a reception at the Waldorf-Astoria to Dr. Judah L. Magnes, chancellor of the University, now in this country for a short visit.

The work, measuring eight by twelve feet, portrays the principal buildings of the University on Mount Scopus, near Jerusalem. The painting is the gift of an anonymous donor, and shows the recently dedicated Einstein Institute of Physics and Minnie Untermyer Open Air Memorial Theatre.

Speakers at the affair this evening, besides Dr. Magnes, will include Professor John Dewey and Dr. John H. Finley, of the New York Times.

Greetings will be brought from a number of American universities, including Professor Richard Gottheil, Columbia; Paul Klapper, dean of City College; Judge Julian W. Mack, Harvard; Christian Gauss, dean at Princeton; Edwin Sapir, Yale; G. Canby Robinson, Cornell; C. S. Gager, and Marshall S. Brown, New York University.
