Aba Achimeier, Zionist Revisionist who was acquitted of complicity in the murder of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, and who was immediately rearrested by the police, charged with being the leader of the secret terrorist organization, Brith Habiryondim, today began a hunger strike. He announced he would continue his fast until he was released on bail.

Bail for Achimeier was refused by authorities, despite the fact that other defendants held on the same charge are free on bail of $125.

The District Court today sustained the refusal of the police to release Achimeier on bail. An appeal to the High Court is being taken.
