County Judge Algeron I. Nova, chairman of the $500,000 campaign of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, announced yesterday that “there is still a long way to go” despite the $204,370 cash contributions received in the drive to date.
The closing meeting of the Women’s Division has been announced by its president, Mrs. Clarence G. Bachrach, for June 6, at the Abraham & Straus store. The Junior Federation will convene tonight at the Temple Beth Elohim, Eighth avenue and Garfield place. A partial list of contributions, annual subscriptions and special donations, is as follows:
