UPHOLDS WORLD CONGRESS

Dr. Angelo Saceroti, chief rabbi of Italy, sharply criticized the American Jewish organization for opposing the world congress which, he declared, would utterly destroy the legend of a “secret Jewish internationale.”

Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, honorary president of the American Jewish Congress, and Dr. Goldmann, in their concluding speeches, appealed to all Jewry to unite in the fight against Hitlerism and aid in making the convocation of the world Jewish congress a reality.

Faith in the future of the Jews and defiance of enemies characterized the concluding session, which unanimously and enthusiastically adopted the highly important resolutions placed before the conferences by the various committees.
